I downloaded the Powershot A700 version (a700-100-0.6.2-535 12.10.2008 13:31) and so far it works fine using an SD-card.
When changeing to the German language I found several mistakes.
Every word using a German umlaut (ÄÜÖ äüöß) a cyrilliy character is displayed. The German language file holds the correct spelling.
It looks to me, that the fonts are faulty.
