ixus 950 speed Edit
ok, just tested my ixus 950 and set shutter override to lots of different stuff, all the time with no results. it stays at 1/1600 speed. who put on the 1/5000 value? where does it come from? is there something extra to set?
- Don't forget: since the original firmware knows nothing about the CHDK overrides, the Canon OSD shows the nearest/lowest/highest value it knows when the settings are beyond the original fw's capabilities. Fe50 12:04, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Would like to Help Testing my A570IS CHDK Camera Edit
Am new to digital cameras so would like help setting up my A570IS for testing.
Would also like to make a very basic USB remote cable.
Appreciate any suggestions or comments.

- For testing, did you read the page with the chart? At the bottom are methods and links to discussions on how to test your camera.
More Power Data on Cameras - Motion detection capability implies remote observation applications. These applications frequently require additional power sources such as external batteries and solar charging. More information on the power usage of the cameras would be helpful in designing these uses.
Someone has extended this table to extension tube measures, which is no new featue due to CHDK but I'd like to see this table containing more cameraspecific data like min. max. local length, makro supermakro available, flash builtin/popup keys available and so on. This could help coding scripts less camera dependent.
Where does the SD780IS fit into this table?? Edit
I have a SD780IS and am lovin' it with CHDK. Beta build works, but has trouble booting sometimes (from empty card?)
Anyway, I can't see where it fits into this table.... Looked for all the model name variants, maybe I missed it, but seems not here. Anyone know?
