Since this camera has no print button, Playback [>] is used as CHDK's <Alt> button (short press = <Alt> button, long press = original function).
Starting with CHDK 1.2 (r2498), the On/Off button can optionally be used in <Alt> mode as Display button replacement (CHDK Settings -> ON/OFF button in <ALT> mode)
In CHDK 1.1, the On/Off button always acts as Display in <Alt> mode, therefore
You need to exit <Alt> mode to be able to switch the camera off with the On/Off button!
