Version information

Create an empty file called ver.req in the root of the flash card. Press and hold FUNCSET, then instantly press DISP. Please note that holding FUNCSET for too long (until clock appears) and then pressing DISP won't give the desired results. You should now see the following on your screen:

Note about the different Firmwares

Cameras with the 1.00d firmware can/must use the CHDK version for 1.00e - the autobuild already just copies this, so when you have a 1.00d cam you will find YOUR version in the autobuild. Development is happening in the 1.00e tree, then compiled and just renamed for the 1.00d people.
