CHDK specialities[]

  • As most other cameras of the IXUS series, the SD630 does not have a real aperture
  • A ND Filter is used instead; therefore there are no aperture overrides and no Av bracketing in CHDK available
  • The ND filter can be controlled from the CHDK menu or from a script, there are 3 possible setting:
    On (always active)
    Off (always disabled/inactive) and
    Auto (controlled by the Canon firmware, no CHDK overrides)
