Canon released a firmware update for the S100 on 2013-02-20. There is also a service notice to fix a lens error problem with some S100 cameras. Click on the Product Advisory tab at this link |

Firmware info Edit
The S100 does not support loading CHDK via the firmare update method. Use the SD card lock autoboot method.
