I successfully (?) installed the IXUS700 SD500 b to my SD500. I have not been able to open the ALT menu in spite of attemting all possible button combinations and reinstalling the CHDK firmware. b seems to load while a locks up the camera.
I would appreciate all suggestions.

-> On my SD500 (1.01b), hitting the 'Direct Print' button (the one that flashes blue upon boot) brings on the <ALT> mode (<ALT> appears at the botton of the screen). Then hitting 'Menu' opens the menu.
