I was wondering if anyone has ever investigated the possibility of shortening the 'photo review' delay that occurs after you shoot?

Now this might simply be the delay in writing the pic to the card, but I'm thinking it's deliberately lengthened so that you can see what you've shot. Unfortunately, this is kind of annoying when you are trying to line up the next shot...

For example, on my S3 IS, it lasts for a couple of seconds, and there doesn't seem to be any option to change this on the camera itself.

Does anyone know if it is possible to reduce this time in a modified firmware?
